“Situated in our multicultural world, we re-affirm the importance of the quality of our community life.” -Chapter of 2007-
An authentic life together calls us to embrace both Eucharistic and common meals, along with a sharing of the Word of God as it is experienced in our daily lives. We emphasize interiority and the value of silence as a way to encounter God and others. Hospitality in community means that we accept the other with love, in a deeper and more honest sharing of our experiences and of the action of God in our lives. Community becomes the place where we learn to live vulnerability, authenticity and reconciliation – giving witness to simplicity of life according to the Gospel.
